How Diskovaa uses your information
This notice covers the information used by the current Diskovaa web service.
Information we collect
Account information can include your name, email address, phone number, organisation, role, and sign-in records. Creative profiles can include a display name, photo, biography, location, social links, portfolio links, availability, and verification information. We also store engagement requests, messages, comments, reviews, moderation actions, and basic technical records needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use it
We use information to create accounts, publish approved profiles, support search, deliver and manage engagement requests, reveal participant contact details after acceptance, send service messages, review profiles, moderate misuse, troubleshoot problems, and secure Diskovaa.
What becomes public
A published creative profile and its approved portfolio are public. Public comments and completed-engagement reviews are also visible. Email addresses, phone numbers, private messages, unavailable dates, and admin verification notes are not intended to appear on public profiles.
When information is shared
After a request is accepted, Diskovaa shares each participant's contact details with the other participant so they can continue directly. Service providers may process limited information for hosting, media storage, email delivery, security, and maintenance. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
Sessions and security
Diskovaa uses a secure browser cookie to maintain your signed-in session. The short-lived access credential is kept in browser memory rather than browser storage. No online system is risk-free, so use a unique password and sign out on shared devices.
Retention and your choices
We keep information while it is needed to provide the service, maintain request history, resolve safety or integrity issues, and meet legal obligations. You can update profile information from your dashboard. Requests to access, correct, or remove other account information will be handled subject to identity checks and any records Diskovaa must lawfully retain.
Use care with messages
Do not place passwords, identity documents, sensitive financial information, or other unnecessary confidential material in profiles, comments, requests, or messages.
